Our Team

Marc Perusse is the Founder & CEO of E2M Ventures (E2MV), a Denver-based real estate investment firm known for its ability to navigate and execute complex transactions. E2MV provides both senior and subordinate debt across the U.S., while also targeting opportunistic acquisitions in Colorado, often in partnership with Co-GP operating partners. With more than 15 years of experience, Marc has been instrumental in acquiring and repositioning over $500 million in real estate assets, consistently uncovering hidden value in challenging markets.

Prior to founding E2MV, Marc served as Chief Investment Officer for Revesco Properties, where he spearheaded high-profile projects such as Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park, Meow Wolf, and more than $350 million in real estate developments and acquisitions. Throughout his career, Marc has been involved in over $750 million worth of real estate transactions, spanning roles as an owner, investor, asset manager, lender, broker, and consultant.

Marc holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver, graduating cum laude. He lives in Denver, CO with his wife and son. In his free time, Marc enjoys the mountains, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family.

Kristin Bertram is Managing Director with E2M Ventures and in charge of E2MV’s debt strategy. She has over 20 years of investment experience across the capital the stack with a focus on special situations. She has been directly involved in over $1B of real estate transactions in various capacities including originations, acquisitions, asset management, recapitalizations and dispositions.

 Ms. Bertram was previously Senior Vice President and Head of Originations at iBorrow, a Los Angeles based hard money lender where she was primarily responsible for the origination, underwriting, and management of the Firm’s debt transactions. Prior to iBorrow, she was Vice President of Originations at Hillcrest Finance, a subordinate debt and preferred equity provider based in New York City. Ms. Bertram also held roles at Morgan Stanley and oversaw the bank’s balance sheet loan investments.  Prior to Morgan Stanley, she was an Assistant Vice President at Hudson Advisors (the asset management subsidiary of Lone Star Funds) and focused on underwriting and asset management of distressed debt and equity investments in addition to portfolio management responsibilities. Ms. Bertram also held roles with Aviv REIT and Walton Street Capital.

Kristin was a double major in Real Estate and Finance at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. In her free time she enjoys traveling and  discovering new restaurants with her fiance.

Kieran leads high-net-worth fundraising and investor relations at E2M Ventures (E2MV), drawing on his 15 years of experience in professional sports, including coaching and managing teams in high-performance environments such as World Rugby, USA Rugby, and Major League Rugby. Known for his ability to build strong relationships and deliver exceptional results, Kieran leverages the principles of teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement in his role at E2MV. His effective communication skills and strategic planning enable him to align investor interests with business objectives, fostering collaboration and long-term engagement within the firm.

Initially, Kieran became involved with Marc Perusse as an investor, profiting from their ventures. Inspired by the success and motivated to spread the word, he chose to become more actively involved when Marc launched E2MV. His unique perspective from the sports industry has equipped him with insights into teamwork and excellence that resonate with investors and stakeholders alike, creating lasting connections and trust.

Originally from England, Kieran has settled in Golden, Colorado, where he enjoys outdoor activities like skiing and biking. He also values time with his young family, balancing his dedication to personal connections with his professional commitment to building relationships and driving value at E2MV.

As the Vice President of Investments at E2M Ventures (E2MV), Kit is instrumental in the strategic assessment of investment opportunities, the diligent analysis of market dynamics, the advancement of business growth plans, and the reinforcement of investor alliances. 

He has been directly involved in over $250 Million of transactions and managed multifamily and commercial assets across the United States valued over $500 Million. Kit brings over a decade of experience with distinguished firms such as OliverBuchananGroup, Lifestyle Communities, Forum Investment Group, and J.P. Morgan Chase. 

Kit received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University. On a personal note, Kit is an avid skier, hockey player, and subpar mandolin player. He enjoys spending time with his wife along with their dog, Florence, and cat, Frida. Kit is continuously on the hunt for the best breakfast spot in Denver.
